I just want to put a note in regarding the birth of my Daughter, Piper Ann Rose, on Dec. 1, 2007.....
Yay! In a house full of blondes, I now have another brunette on my team! And of course, completely biased as I am, she is probably the most beautiful baby ever! (Gush)
We were afraid of her before she was born--well, I certainly was. I have lived with a chronic headache for the past 3 plus years, and babies tend to cause me considerable discomfort(and make me effin' bonkers, what), with the high volumes and pitches.
All the things I was afraid of have all happened by now, and apparently, my sanity has remained somewhat intact. This being said, She is truly a blessing.
It's fun to be a Daddy, sometimes.
Something to think about: A headache can take away all of your joy, over time, if you let it. For those without, I strongly suggest remembering the things that make you happy, and truly ENJOY them, as sometimes that option can be taken away.
Anybody can die at any time, but not everyone has the the guts to choose to LIVE. The things in my world make me so very happy that I chose life, those couple of years ago...
After all, who would REALLY want to miss this...?

Wow...talk about a ramble...

Originally, I had taken the name Darth Kirby for City of Heroes where, after 3 years of having the toon there, they diecided I had infringed on a copyright of some kind....So the name became my tag from then on...(going on to make, of course, "Darth Kirby Lives" on City of Villains...which, strangely, they never pulled...;P
